Quality for the SPU

We monitor and measure the conditions for provision of the Universal Postal Service (SPU in Spanish) based upon the following three indicators:

  • Medium-term objectives for delivery of letters, postcards, and postal packages.
  • Index showing the average customer service time at post office branches.
  • Degree of reliability, measured as an annual percentage of claims related to the Universal Postal Service submitted to the Ministry of Development, compared to the total number submitted at post office branches.
