Delivery obligation

The operator designated for the provision of the USO must deliver shipments, every working day and at least five days a week, to the postal address indicated on the cover of the shipments. Exceptionally, where "special environment" conditions exist, shipments are delivered not to individual home mailboxes but to non-home individual mailboxes or multi-home lockers.

What are "special environments"?

"Special environments" are places with certain characteristics, for example, isolated homes or those located in scattered areas and situated more than 250 meters from the public road, or areas with significant construction development and minimal population density when certain conditions of registered inhabitants, housing and premises density per hectare, and shipment volume are met.

In any case, in all these environments, the obligation to deliver every working day and at least five days a week is maintained, and deliveries of certified shipments are made to the home.
