We are the entity responsible for issuing certificates for biofuels, managing the certification mechanism, and overseeing and monitoring the obligation to supply of biofuels in Spain. We can also issue circulars as part of our exercise of this function.

Information system for Biofuel Certification (SICBIOS in Spanish)

SICBIOS is the electronic platform that must be used by those obligated to sell or consume biofuels and that those obligated to provide verification information must use to formalise their requests. In order to use the SICBIOS system you must be a registered user.

• If you have already registered, you can go directly to the Access for Registered Users option.
   
• If you have not yet registered in the system, you must request a Certification Account or else register for the Certification System using the Request Opening of Account or Register option.

Lists of wholesalers of petroleum and LPG products and retailers of bulk LPG

In compliance with article 42 of Spain's Law on Hydrocarbons, we publish and continually update the list of wholesalers of petroleum products that have notified the Ministry of Energy, Tourism and the Digital Agenda regarding start-up of their business activities.

In compliance with article 45 of Spain's Law on Hydrocarbons, we publish and continually update the list of operators of wholesale liquid petroleum gas (LPG) that have notified the Ministry of Energy, Tourism and the Digital Agenda regarding start-up of their business activities.
 

In compliance with article 46 of Spain's Law on Hydrocarbons, we publish and continually update the list of retailers of bulk liquid petroleum gas (LPG) that have notified the Ministry of Energy, Tourism and the Digital Agenda regarding start-up of their business activities.
